There is a common concept of Gospel mysteries taught in Popular Christianity. This is anything which is not understood is called a mystery and this is why we do not have to be able to understand it. Here is what Jesus in the book of Mark says about it.
Mark 4:10 to 11 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
So the 12 definitely knew what the mysteries were, and have left us books explaining these mysteries. The 12 were apostolwn, sacred messengers and so was Paul. Paul also taught the mysteries of Yhvh. The whole point of the Gospel was to teach the secret things of Yhvh. We should not accept ignorance, even as Paul did not.
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
We are not to be ignorant, the greecian word αγνοειν means not know, or by mistake, or to err in sin, which can cause a person to conceitedly think they are correct is their mistaken knowledge. It should be remembered even the meaning of the word has a definition of sin to it, so choosing to remain ignorant is a sin. Let us view a few more verses about the gospel mystery.
Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
This verse has errors, and is not included in all Ancient Grecian texts. If one were to use the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses this verse fails to be consistent. It appears in several different places in copies of the book of Romans, and thus is not solid foundation to build on. Having said this the phrasing is compatible with the biblical tenant of explaining or showing what the mystery or secret of Yhvh is.
Ephesians 3:1 to 9 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Verse 3 is a direct reference to Acts 9:16, when Jesus by divine revelation called Paul to the work. Vs 4 very clearly states by reading we can understand the revealed mystery.
1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
The Greek reads this was “hidden prior by God”, and it is obvious at the start of the verse what they are speaking about this which in old days used to be hidden but now is not. Once a secret is revealed it is no longer a secret.
Colossians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds
This verse is improperly translated into the English. The phrase “for which I am in bonds” is wrong. The bonds are related to the next verse, and it is Paul speaking about himself being bound to show forth and speak of the secrets of the Messiah.
1 Corinthians 15:51 to 57 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
In this passage its intent was to clearly show us an explanation of the secret of Resurrection. We are told in the Greek we will see this secret with our own eyes. Do to ancient Paul explaining this to the congregation of believers, it is clearly exposed the belief of heaven ascension is ignorance, simply by virtue of having not been explained as part of the mystery. This is available for us to all ages and until the end of Yhvhs plan.
Ephesians 1:1 to 9 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
It is very clear the secrets of Yhvhs will have been made known to us, and it is Yhvhs pleasure to do so.
Ephesians 5:22 to 32 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Again another secret was spoken of and also very simply explained, it is understandable. The relationship being like the one which attaches Jesus to the Ecclessia make marital relationships easy to understand. The man loves his wife, but there is also a continual requirement for her willing submission to do the things he asks of her, as with us who forget to do right sometimes, so also with Jesus do we have grace. If the Husband does not love, the relationship dies, so neither is endless grace of the husband acceptable, because as the relationship with the Jesus there is a time of judgment and reckoning. If the Wife chooses not to follow and submit to the husband, this also would be as us sinning and refusing to sow the word or teach our members right, the latter course of this is death of the relationship, even as the latter end with Jesus is death to the disobedient.
Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Again the point was to make known the secret.
Colossians 1:26 to 27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
When was the now, the point is the now of this verse was a very long time ago in the past. The secret was shown forth and made known long in the past.
Colossians 2:1 to 3 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
The Greek translation to English in the KJV “mystery of God, and of the father, and of Christ” is misrepresented, it should read “ secrets of the God and Father and the Christ” this minor blunder shows intentional bias on part of translators in the idea of conjoining God into a trinity. The Greek writing places intentional separation between the two titles by using the word του often translated to English as the. This is actually contradictory to the idea of the mystery being of and about the trinity.
1 Timothy 3:8 to 10 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
1 Timothy 3:14 to 16 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
It is common for verse 16 to be used by believers of the trinity to explain the God becoming flesh. Perhaps a more in depth examination is necessary. For the sake of study the byzantine is shown below, and for those who choose to study more, there are a least 3 different textual variations, and also newer text like the Westcott Hort Greek text completely cut God out of the verse. The Alexandrian is missing the word for mystery and adds the word for who in its place, and others have additional and missing words. However both the Textus Receptus and Byzantine were in the separate catholic church custody for an extended period of time.
και ομολογουμενως μεγα εστιν το της ευσεβειας μυστηριον θεος εφανερωθη εν σαρκι εδικαιωθη εν πνευματι ωφθη αγγελοις εκηρυχθη εν εθνεσιν επιστευθη εν κοσμω ανεληφθη εν δοξη
και and ομολογουμενως same speech with joy μεγα mighty εστιν is το to της the ευσεβειας respect of μυστηριον secret θεος God εφανερωθη being famous εν in σαρκι giving flesh εδικαιωθη justice εν in πνευματι spirit ωφθη appearing αγγελοις to bear a message εκηρυχθη announcing εν in εθνεσιν groups επιστευθη trusting εν in κοσμω giving order ανεληφθη taken away εν in δοξη honor
And in the same speach with joy mighty is the respect of the secret God being famous in giving flesh justice in spirit appearing to bear a message announcing in groups believing in this order taken away in honor.
This makes sense because the spirit is holy and has always signified Gods intent to be near, if not present in physical form, it does not means the spirit is the form of God but rather a power and at times visual emissary. The Greek phrasing however does not allow mixture of Jesus and God if translated correctly. Again God has never been seen so his appearance and likeness are unknown, an his prophecies do not reveal themselves until the time appointed, though the texts have been in existence for many years.
The phrase “ευσεβειας μυστηριον θεος” cannot all be nouns, unless as a title or multiple name is in usage, thus one of the previous two words respect ευσεβειας, or secret μυστηριον, are by grammatical structure required to be an adjective. Morphological Analytical codes fail at this point because of this passage and also Matthew 8:16 where evening is listed as an adjective instead of a noun. The Greek word ending ιας can be used as either a noun or adjective, but is context required to be an adjective if used as a descriptor. A second point is the verse may need to be checked for additional discrepancies because these two words το της may or may not be intentional or unintentionally misplaced. Adjectives even when appearing in titles are still adjectives.
Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Again the secret was intentionally explained, in both chapter 2 and 3 of the revelation, and greatly exposed both the style of teachings and sinning flaws in all ecclessias listed.
Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
The mystery here is defined as the word of Yhvh given to the prophets. What are prophets known for? Prophesy, thus the mystery of Yhvh is prophecy in the bible. One of the goals of our faith is to understand the perfect interpretation of prophecy. When prophecy is fulfilled the end of Yhvhs plan is completed, and we gain salvation as righteous if our walk is upright.
Revelation 17:5 to 18 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
As you can see in the bible mysteries are all consistently explained so the reader can understand what they are, otherwise they are not mentioned as a mystery or secret but as a prophecy. In this prophecy an identifying factor should take place. The greecian words “μυστηριον βαβυλων” mean secrets of confusing speech, and the organizations which are the body of this biblical symbol teach the confusion as a righteous thing, however this isn’t biblical. Secondary those same organizations have been found to have skeletons of babies, pregnant women, young boys, murdered men, and also are known for homosexuals men and women, pedophiles, rapists, and whorish men and women in their structure. Combine this with the killing of martyrs and the believers, and the only option is Rome. To more completely prove this let us look in Isaiah chapter 10.
Isaiah 10:33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
The Hebrew word translated as “High ones” is ורמי pronounced vwromi which when the prefixes and suffixes are removed is רמ pronounced Rom, just as the city of Rome is described in Revelation. This the end of Rome and the Vatican which is part of Rome was prophecied to be destroyed at Jesus return. Thus the mystery has been revealed.
Whores in the bible typify Yhvhs people who have gone astray. This was done with both Jerusalem and Samaria in the Old Testement in Ezekiel 23, and here it appears in Revelation. The whore had to have existed as part of Christianity at one point, and then adopted the ancient teachings of babylon who believed in a set of good dieties fighting a set of evil deities, not to mention idols, and both sun and moon worship. All of this points generally in the direction of the Catholic faith, which has tried to use and usurp pagan religions to their purpose and has done so successfully. Examples are; conversion of the moon phase time keeping system to a solar calender, use of idols of Thanatos as a representation of a haloed angel, acceptance of temples of Hermes as christian churches because of statues of a Shepherd, allowance of extra curricular pagan activites alongside church services, Easter bunnies, Santa Claus, all hallows eve, and the prominence of and bias toward sunsteads. Furthermore to be drunken on the blood of the saints relates to the vast amount of martyrs and persecutions early Christianity has gone through. The crusaders weren’t martyrs or persecuted, and are part of the prophecy in Revelation chapter 9 concerning Appolyon Abbadon being translated is Mohammad Ben Abad, and those of his were sent to kill those without the seal of God in their forehead.
This reduces the religions it could represent drastically. It was not Islam. Martyrs and persecution were usually pagan vs christian in early times, or catholic vs christian. The beast is nothing more than the system built to transport this whorish version of Christianity, which has yet another attachment to Catholicism in the numerology of the name, and also the meaning of the word Latin in the Hebrew. The word Latin in the Hebrew, לאתין defines as “secrets of man”. This word doesn’t appear in the bible. Also this word is not exactly compatible with the feminine tense in revelation “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT”. However the Greek in Revelation does translate to “their secrets are confusing”. In the English to babel means to speak in a confusing or mysterious way.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
If people are teaching confusion, counseling others not to explain the word of Yhvh. Then think on these verses.
Psalms 83:1 A Song or Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
Psalms 64:1 to 10 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
The Apostles explained the mystery when taught to the believers. We were shown it in his teachings. Jesus made it known. One of the mysteries was Jesus and his relation to the church in comparison to husband and wife. The gospel mystery is supposed to be made known. It was hidden for ages but is now made manifest and known among gentiles. It was the goal of Paul to teach the full understanding of the correct mystery of God. It helps with a pure conscience. It is a secret of respect in the heart of man for Yhvh. During the time Revelation was written 7 churches had it. The mystery of God will eventually finish, as was given to the prophets, this means there will eventually be nothing which cannot be understood in the word of God, it relates to the time of the 7th angel. Even the mystery of the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth was explained. There is not one New Testament reference to mystery where it is not explained, unless used in general reference to the gospel as a whole.
After consolidating the point of the previous words, and returning to finish the previous prophetic explanation of Yhvhs mystery. It is at this point we should recall the parable of Jesus the Messiah. The wheat and the tares, or angelic the reaper of the tares.
Matthew 13:18 to 50 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
This parable is not a parable in the normal sense, but a prophecy. The prophecy relevant to it is the next text. The point of Jesus word was to provoke the wariness of the multitudes. He identified for them in parable via personification they had an Enemy, who was a wicked one. Furthermore he explained how this wicked one would steal the good word planted in the hearts of men, and in secret, and with intentional sneakiness sow poisonous tares among the good seed planted in the hearts of men. There is a continual time reference between the start of the planting and harvest. This is a common thread in Yhvhs word. Take notice because the harvest is used as a symbol for the preparation for battle, the battle at the valley of Jehosophat, the identification of evil shepherds in the flock, and the Judgment of the baptized believers, or under previous covenant circumcision.
Revelation 14:9 to 20 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
While not perhaps obvious we are living during the time of the fulfillment of this prophecy. The key to understanding this prophecy has to do with the connection of the sickle, the wine of God’s wrath, and The shout. There is one person who is Jesus, and 3 messengers. There are 2 reaping sickles. One for the heathen, this is the reaping of the earth in the precursor battles before the judgment; before the Judgment because Jesus, also prophetically known as Michael, is in the cloud in heaven. The next is the winepress of the wrath of Yhvh, and this is the actual time during the Judgments of Yhvh on the nations of the world.
Joel 3:7 to 16 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head: And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it. Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
This passage in Joel uses the term sickle and press. The word press is גת gat with a ready definition of winepress, just as in the previous mentioned verses.
Jeremiah 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel. And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape. A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture. And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD. He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
Jeremiah 23:1 to 20 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD. And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Amo 2:13 Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
Amo 2:14 Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
Amo 2:15 Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.
Amo 2:16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.
Amo 3:1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
Amo 3:2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
Amo 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Amo 3:4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
Amo 3:5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
Amo 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Amo 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Amo 3:8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
Amo 3:9 Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
Amo 3:10 For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
Amo 3:11 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

Amo 4:1 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
Amo 4:2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

Amo 4:4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

Amo 4:7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

Amo 5:6 Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

Amo 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
Amo 5:9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
Amo 5:10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
Amo 5:11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
Amo 5:12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
Amo 5:13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
Amo 5:14 Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
Amo 5:15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
Amo 5:16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.
Amo 5:17 And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
Amo 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
Amo 5:19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Amo 5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
Amo 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
Amo 5:22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
Amo 5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
Amo 5:24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
Amo 5:25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

Amo 6:6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

Amo 6:11 For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.

Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
Zec 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
Zec 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Jer 50:16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.
Jer 50:17 Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.
Jer 50:18 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.
Jer 50:19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.
Jer 50:20 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.
This needs to be re-translated. a cherub is both the symbol of the organization of the saints, and a sword, and specific people. So the entire organization of saints under Jesus has the ability to reap the heathen and the evil deceivers who are tares sown by evil secretive men. The Hebrew reads different than the one with the sickle being cut off.
